First a brief explanation of what the Miller+Middendorf is: The idea came about as a way for Katie and I to me more accessible to the community. We had heard several stories in 2023 of people who told us that they “didn’t know where to start”. We heard from people that we talked to that they had so many questions about real estate but they did not want to waste anyone’s time to ask their questions and on top of that they did not know who to ask. So we decided to make a safe space for people with questions about real estate. We wanted it to be informal, no pressure and no sales. Just a place where you can come ask questions without fear. Then we went to the next level, what if we invited people from other housing related industries. Roofers, electricians, plumbers, lock smiths, the list goes on and on. This could give people the chance to make connections with and get answers from people they may never get a chance to meet. Boom the meetup was born.
